Two approaches to compilation of bilingual multi-word terminology lists from lexical resources
In this paper, we present two approaches and the implemented system for bilingual terminology extraction that rely on an aligned bilingual domain corpus, a terminology extractor for a target language, and a tool for chunk alignment. The two approaches differ in the way terminology for the source language is obtained: the first relies on an existing domain terminology lexicon, while the second one uses a term extraction tool. For both approaches, four experiments were performed with two parameters being ...Branislava Šandrih, Cvetana Krstev, Ranka Stanković. The origin of Na-alkaline lavas revisited: new constraints from experimental melting of amphibole-rich metasomes+lherzolite at uppermost mantle pressure
We present a new experimental dataset for reaction experiments between natural amphibole-clinopyroxene metasomes (hornblendite) and synthetic lherzolite that produced Na-rich alkaline melts. Experiments were conducted at 1, 3 and 4 GPa and 1000–1300 °C. The generated melts range from foidite over basanite to phonotephrite. At 1 GPa between 1000 and 1100 °C amphibole decompression-breakdown products generate a phonotephritic melt. Among the breakdown components rhönite was found to be stable up to 1100 °C and 1 GPa. At 3 and ...аlkalni vulkanizam, еksperimentalna petrologija, кersutit, Kula vulkan, хornblendit, metasomatizam omotačaTobias Grützner, Dejan Prelević, Jasper Berndt, Stephan Klemme. Rule-based Automatic Multi-word Term Extraction and Lemmatization
In this paper we present a rule-based method for multi-word term extraction that relies on extensive lexical resources in the form of electronic dictionaries and finite-state transducers for modelling various syntactic structures of multi-word terms. The same technology is used for lemmatization of extracted multi-word terms, which is unavoidable for highly inflected languages in order to pass extracted data to evaluators and subsequently to terminological e-dictionaries and databases. The approach is illustrated on a corpus of Serbian texts from ...Ranka Stanković, Cvetana Krstev, Ivan Obradović, Biljana Lazić, Aleksandra Trtovac. Snežana Štrbac, Gordana Gajica, Aleksandra Šajnović, Nebojša Vasić, Ksenija Stojanović, Branimir Jovančićević (2013)The objective of the study was to determine the origin and type of organic matter (OM) of the Tisza recent sediments along the distance of 153 km through the territory of Serbia. For this purpose group organic-geochemical parameters and biomarker compositions were used. All samples contain approximately same amount of OM, which was deposited under uniform, slightly reducing conditions. Based on the distribution of n-alkanes, the origin and type of OM could not be precisely estimated. However, n-alkane patterns ...Snežana Štrbac, Gordana Gajica, Aleksandra Šajnović, Nebojša Vasić, Ksenija Stojanović, Branimir Jovančićević. Novel Methods in Multiple Criteria Decision-Making Process (MCRAT and RAPS)—Application in the Mining Industry
Multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) is a supporting tool which is widely spread in different areas of science and industry. Many researchers have confirmed that MCDM methods can be useful for selecting the best solution in many different problems. In this paper, two novel methods are presented and applied on existing decision-making processes in the mining industry. The first method is multiple criteria ranking by alternative trace (MCRAT) and the second is ranking alternatives by perimeter similarity (RAPS). These ...Katarina Urošević, Zoran Gligorić, Igor MIljanović, Čedomir Beljić, Miloš Gligorić. Experimental production of K-rich metasomes through sediment recycling at the slab-mantle interface in the fore-arc
Sediment contribution to the mantle is the key step for the generation of orogenic magmatism to produce its isotopic and geochemical inventory. Even though they are exceptional for the post-collisional settings, there are worldwide examples of arc-related ultrapotassic mafic magmas which require complex multi-stage processes along with sediment melting e.g. in Italy or Pontides of Türkiye. To understand the metasomatism leading mantle to produce ultrapotassic mafic melts, we simulated the reactions of depleted (harzburgite) and fertile (lherzolite) mantle with ...Fatma Gülmez, Dejan Prelević, Michael W. Long-term planning methodology for improving wood biomass utilization
The insufficiently developed forest management system is often followed by undeveloped forest resources supply chain and insufficient institutional support. These cause inefficient usage of fuel-wood as well as huge amounts of unused forest residues. In order to achieve optimal and long-term sustainable utilisation of biomass, an original methodology based on the interaction of mathematical optimization and backcasting approach has been developed. Mathematical optimization is used for both generation and consideration of techno-economic parameters of the forest biomass supply chain. ...Vladimir Vukašinović, Dušan Gordić, Marija Živković, Davor Koncalović, Dubravka Živković.
