The use of biological markers in determination of origin and type of organic matter in the Tisza river sediments
Snežana Štrbac, Gordana Gajica, Aleksandra Šajnović, Nebojša Vasić, Ksenija Stojanović, Branimir Jovančićević (2013)The objective of the study was to determine the origin and type of organic matter (OM) of the Tisza recent sediments along the distance of 153 km through the territory of Serbia. For this purpose group organic-geochemical parameters and biomarker compositions were used. All samples contain approximately same amount of OM, which was deposited under uniform, slightly reducing conditions. Based on the distribution of n-alkanes, the origin and type of OM could not be precisely estimated. However, n-alkane patterns ...Snežana Štrbac, Gordana Gajica, Aleksandra Šajnović, Nebojša Vasić, Ksenija Stojanović, Branimir Jovančićević. Paleovegetation and environment during deposition of the Late Oligocene sub-bituminous coal in the Bobov Dol Basin (SW Bulgaria) as deduced from petrographic and geochemical characteristics
Alexander Zdravkov, Achim Bechtel, Doris Groβ, Ivan Kojić, Ksenija Stojanović, Dragana Životić (2024)Coal and carbonaceous shale samples were taken from the Late Oligocene Bobov Dol Basin, SW Bulgaria. Seams Ia, I, IIa+b, III, IV and V from the coal-bearing Bobov Dol Fm. were sampled to provide insights into the peat forming vegetation and depositional environment based on detailed organic petrological and geochemical study. The petrographic composition indicates that both coals and carbonaceous shales contain predominantly terrestrial organic matter with abundant huminite macerals and locally enriched liptinite macerals. Inertinite is rare or ...Alexander Zdravkov, Achim Bechtel, Doris Groβ, Ivan Kojić, Ksenija Stojanović, Dragana Životić. A comparative study of the molecular and isotopic composition of biomarkers in immature oil shale (Aleksinac deposit, Serbia) and its liquid pyrolysis products (open and closed systems)
Gordana Gajica, Aleksandra Šajnović, Ksenija Stojanović, Jan Schwarzbauer, Aleksandar Kostić, Branimir Jovančićević (2021)The molecular and isotopic composition of biomarkers in initial bitumen isolated from immature (0.41% Rr) oil shale samples (Aleksinac deposit) and liquid products obtained by pyrolysis in open (OS) and closed (CS) systems are studied. The influence of pyrolysis type and variations of kerogen type on biomarkers composition and their isotopic signatures in liquid products is determined. The applicability of pyrolysis type, numerous biomarkers and carbon isotopic compositions (δ13C) of n-alkanes in liquid pyrolysates is established. Pyrolysis experiments were ...Uljni šejl, Aleksinac, organska supstanca, otvoreni i zatvoreni sistem pirolize, biomarkeri, izotopski sastav ugljjenikaGordana Gajica, Aleksandra Šajnović, Ksenija Stojanović, Jan Schwarzbauer, Aleksandar Kostić, Branimir Jovančićević. Lukens, Lloyd Donaldson (2024)Second Miocene Seam Complex (2nd MFK; germ.: 2. Mioz¨aner Fl¨ozkomplex) holds many in-situ, not permineralised fossil tree stumps and trunks with high-cellulose contents. The state of preservation of a set of in-situ fossil trees (Taxodioxylon cryptomerioides, Sciadopityoxylon wettsteinii, and Quasisequoioxylon piskowitzense) collected from three open-cast mines (Welzow-Süd, Meuro, and Piskowitz) in Lusatia lignite mining district, Federal Republic of Germany was investigated using a multi-method research schema. Examination of preservation state of thermally immature fossil woods revealed: (1) well-preserved (non-deformed, ...ксилит, холоцелулоза, фосилно и модерно дрво, други слој лужичког лигнита, лигнит, ЦЛСМ, ЦЛСМ обојен калкофлуором, микро-ФТИР, биомаркери, изотопи угљеникаJolanta Kus, Martina Dolezych, Wilfrid Schneider, James C.
