It is significant to define the location and dip of anomaly sources during the geophysical exploration (magnetic, gravity, electric, seismic, etc.). In this paper we presented results obtained during magnetic survey. Applying different method of mathematical transformations on magnetic data we can find the position (edge) and dip of magnetic anomaly sources. For successful solution of this problem, we used combination two method tilt derivative and upward continuation. The study area located in the eastern Serbia, north part of Timok magmatic complex (pluton Valja Strž) was taken as field example. The results indicated that pluton Valja Strž is dip westward.
