Microemulsion with aromatic oil as cleaner media for electropolymerisation
Abstract Microemulsion polymerization is widely used as a cleaner alternative way to prepare intrinsically conductive polymers. We studied isothermal phase diagrams for microemulsions of the electropolymerizable heterocyclic aromatic oil 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene (EDOT), aqueous LiClO4 solution and alkyl polyethoxylate. Our specific goal was to assess the effect of LiClO4 salt on the phase behaviour. The phase behaviour was characterized by stepwise titration and microscopic analyses. Here we found that the increase of the concentration of LiClO4 salt shifts the microemulsion region ...M. Ilić, F.-H. Haegel, S. Zlatanovic, N. Potkonjak, B. Simonovic. Recent advances made by reaction experiments on melting of heavily metasomatized hydrous mantle
Dejan Prelević, Michael W. Förster, Stephan Buhre, Fatma Gülmez, Tobias Grützner, Yu Wang, Stephen F. Foley (2024)Mantle-derived magmas are traditionally assumed to originate by melting of an upper mantle consisting of uniform spinel- or garnet peridotite dominated by olivine. However, extensive studies of mantle-derived basalts suggest that the mantle is more mineralogically heterogeneous, so that the genesis of even the most common magmas requires consideration of mixed source regions within the mantle involving pyroxenites and hydrous minerals. We refer to these with the group term metasomes. However, most experimental studies on mantle melting have assumed ...Dejan Prelević, Michael W. Recycled Carbonate‐Bearing Silicate Sediments in the Sources of Circum‐Mediterranean K‐Rich Lavas: Evidence From Mg‐Zn Isotopic Decoupling
Zi‐Tan Shu, Sheng‐Ao Liu, Dejan Prelević, Yu Wang, Stephen F Foley, Vladica Cvetković, Shuguang Li (2023)The high flux of subaerial volcanic CO2 emissions around the circum-Mediterranean region requires the involvement of an unusually carbon-rich reservoir, but the origin of which is still unclear. Here, we aim to resolve this problem by analyzing Mg and Zn isotopes for the widely distributed mafic potassic to ultrapotassic lavas in this region. These K-rich lavas have lower δ 26Mg but similar δ 66Zn compared to mid-ocean ridge basalts (MORB). No known magmatic processes can explain the isotopic data, ...Mg i Zn izotopski sistemi i njihovo razdvajanje, Circum-Mediteranske K-bogate lave, carbonatitski metasomatizam omotača, recikliranje sedimenataZi‐Tan Shu, Sheng‐Ao Liu, Dejan Prelević, Yu Wang, Stephen F Foley, Vladica Cvetković, Shuguang Li. Adsorption and degradation of some psychiatric drugs by sol-gel synthesized titania-based photocatalysts: influence of tungsten and sodium content

Krstić, Aleksandar Kremenović, Tatjana Srećković, Aleksandar Golubović (2019)Mesoporous anatase nanopowders were doped with 0.05−0.5 mol% of W6, in order to obtain more efficient photocatalyst than TiO2 Degussa P25 in the degradation of amitriptyline (AMI) under simulated solar irradiation (SSI). Dominant XRPD peaks were ascribed to anatase phase, with additional peaks which could correspond to brookite, TiO2 bronze and sodium titanate, Na2Ti9O19. The Raman scattering measurements have confirmed anatase as dominant phase, with broad Raman feature at ~270 cm−1 possibly related to Ti–O–Na stretching vibration.
