Cytotoxic activity of tetradentate Schiff Base Copper(II) complexes
Istraživanje kompleksa bakra kao potencijalnih antikancerogenih agenasa nudi ohrabrujuće perspektive u odnosu na komplekse platine (II) računajući na smanjenu toksičnost, novi mehanizam delovanja, različit spektar aktivnosti i perspektivu neunakrsne rezistencije. Kompleksi Šifovih baza bakra(II) koji sadrže tetradentatne ligande acac2en tipa (acac2en (1); tfacac2en (3), acactfacacen (4), acacphacacen (6)) pokazali su važnu antioksidativnu aktivnost, visok potencijal za interakciju sa HSA i DNK, u prethodnim studijama. Interactions of Copper(II) Complexes of some Schiff base ligands with calf thymus DNA and bovine serum albumin
Joni prelaznih metala u kombinaciji sa različitim ligandima nude veliki broj mogućnosti za ispitivanje potencijalnih bioaktivnosti. Među jonima prelaznih metala, bakar je poznat kao endogeni metal za ljude, sa karakterističnim biološkim redoks aktivnostima i relativno jakim afinitetom za nukleobaze. Kompleksi bakra ispoljavaju svoju antitumornu aktivnost na nekoliko različitih načina, generišu veliku količinu ROS, što uzrokuje oksidativno oštećenje mitohondrija i biomakromolekula. Characterization of biochar surface functional groups
In this work, biochar originating from paper fibres was examined. Biochar was prepared via pyrolysis method at 550°C. Oxygen-containing functional groups on biochar surface were determined. The surface functional groups of biochar were analysed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The amount of oxygen-containing functional groups was performed with Boehm titration. Hydrodynamic analysis application of contaminated groundwater remediation to oil hydrocarbons
U ovom radu sagledana je primena hidrodinamičke analize u okviru odabrane remedijacione metode ,,pumpanja i tretiranja” kontaminiranih podzemnih voda ugljovodonicima, na primeru pretakališta rafinerije nafte u Pančevu. Primenjena hidrodinamička analiza predstavlja pravilan, a sve češće i neophodan pristup u savremenoj hidrogeologiji. Prethodnim hemijskim analizama uzoraka tla i podzemnih voda na istražno-osmatračkim objektima detektovano je zagađenje produktima nafte.
