Geomechnical research for the new bucket wheel excavator testing at Open pit “Filijala”
Since 1976 cement marl excavation at open-pit mine „Filijala” is carried out by continuous exploitation technology using bucket wheel excavator SH 400 manufactured by Orenstein und Koppel (O & K) company. Due to the bucket wheel excavator time-worn and high operating cost it was necessary to replace it with new one. In order to test the new bucket wheel excavator and prove its capacity a testing zone was defined as test block for excavation, in which the bucket wheel ...Vladimir Čebašek, Nebojša Gojković, Veljko Rupar, Miodrag Pribićević. BEYOND 2020 - Geology explorations and open pit activities affectation in reclamation designing in Kolubara Coal Mines (KCM) Serbia, new considerations
Geology explorations in KCM runs from 1936. year up to these days and still ongoing. Results in >7,200 drill holes with ≈600,000 m of core drilling and gave lignite ore resources of > 4,1Bt, which 1,15Bt are excavated since 1986. of XIX up to early years of XXI century. For further mining operations in open pits stay 1,5Bt of lignite. Under waste heaps are ≈80 km2, additional 85 km2 should be filled. All of that masses/areas were, are ...Bojan Dimitrijević, Bogoljub Vučković, Radmila Gaćina. Analysis of the exhaust emissions inventory from auxiliary mining machines
Stevan Đenadić, Aleksandar Mirković, Jovana Mitrović, Filip Miletić, Predrag Jovančić, Dragan Ignjatović (2023)Open-pit coal mines are equipped with a large number of mining machines and vehicles with diesel engines. Due to common daily operation of these machines and vehicles large amounts of exhaust gases which contain numerous pollutants are emitted into the atmosphere. The demand to reduce air pollution induced the activities in developed countries to map and calculate all gases emitted by industries to formulate and select adequate preventive activities. In collaboration with machine manufacturers, emission standards for off-road machines ...Stevan Đenadić, Aleksandar Mirković, Jovana Mitrović, Filip Miletić, Predrag Jovančić, Dragan Ignjatović. Effectiveness Analysis of Different Bucket-wheel Excavators
Coal production in open-pit lignite mines in the Republic of Serbia is performed with continuous work systems. In addition to coal production, the same systems are used for the exploitation of large quantities of overburden. According to the reliability concept, continuous systems are in linear connection. If the failure occurs in one part of the system, that will produce a downtime of the entire system. The initial and most important factor of continuous systems is the bucket-wheel excavator. It ...Stevan Đenadić, Predrag Jovančić, Dragan Ignjatović, Miloš Tanasijević, Filip Miletić. Evaluation And Perspectives Of Underground Coal Mines In Serbia
... (Soko, Strmosten pit in REMBAS mine, Lubnica and Štavalj) and for closure of those mines without potential (Tadenje and Jarando pits of Ibarski mines, Senjski rudnik pit of REMBAS, Bogovina and Vrška Čuka). This approach leaves Jasenovac mine and Block IV pit of REMBAS mine in between these two ...
... 8 mines and one company working as a contractor at other mines. AHP analysis, based on technical criteria, identified two groups of mines, one with potential for further development (Soko, Strmosten pit- REMBAS, Lubnica and Štavalj) and the other group of mines which should be closed in near future ...
... AHP method is given in the Table 7. It can be seen that Soko has the best ranking, while the Jarando pit of Ibarski mines has the worst ranking. This result is mainly because Soko has significant coal reserves, stable market and potential for improvement (mechanization and investment), while these ...Vladimir Milisavljević, Milena Lekić, Ivica Ristović, Vojin Čokorilo, Aleksandar Cvjetić.
