    U radu su analizirani eksploatacioni učinci ugljenih sistema na površinskom kopu Tamnava–Zapadno polje. Period analize je prvih šest meseci tekuće godine. Analiza je vršena sa aspekta ostvarene proizvodnje, kvaliteta uglja, efektivnog vremena rada, kapacitetnog i vremenskog iskoršćenja i zastoja sistema. Za poređenje podataka različitih parametara koji po svojoj prirodi nisu međusobno uporedivi, u radu su korišćene metode višekriterijumskog odlučivanja.

    We introduce the ratio of the number of roots of a polynomial Pd, greater than one in modulus, to its degree d as an alternative to Mahler measure. We investigate some properties of the alternative. We generalise this definition for a polynomial in several variables using Cauchy’s argument principle. If a polynomial in two variables do not vanish on the torus we prove the theorem for the alternative which is analogous to the Boyd-Lawton limit formula for Mahler measure. ...

    Asbestos-containing pottery shards collected in the northeast of Corsica (Cap Corse) and dating from the 19th century, or earlier, have been analyzed by SEM-EDS, XRPD, FTIR and Raman microspectroscopy. Blue (crocidolite) and white (chrysotile) asbestos fiber bundles are observed in cross-sections. Most of the asbestos is partly or totally dehydroxylated, and some transformation to forsterite is observed to occur, indicative of a firing above 800 C.     Basic analyses of several properties of syllables (the rank-frequency distribution, the distribution of length, and the relation between length and frequency) in Serbian is presented. The syllabification algorithm used combines the maximum onset principle and the sonority hierarchy. Results indicate that syllables behave similarly to words as far as mathematical models are concerned, but values of parameters in models for syllables are quite different from those for words.
