    During the construction of E75 highway through Grdelica gorge in Serbia, a major failure occurred in the zone of reinforced rock slope. Excavation was performed in highly anisotropic Paleozoic schist rock formation. The reinforcement consisted of the two rows of micropile wall with pre-stressed anchors.     Tunel „Debelo brdo“ nazvan je po najizraženijem relјefnom obliku na ovoj drugoj deonici autoputa E-80 Niš – Pločnik. Osnovnu geološku građu na lokaciji tunela čini Mio-Plioceni kompleks heterogenog litološkog sastava. Izgradnja tunela je predviđena delom u otvorenom iskopu dužine 240 m, a delom sa podzemnim iskopom dužine 190 m.     U radu je opisano ponašanje mekih stenskih masa koje su izložene porecesu raspadanja tokom određenog vremenskog perioda. Meke stenske predstavljaju kritične vrste stenskih masa pošto izazivaju različite probleme tokom izvođenja građevinskih radova. Meke stene mogu biti sedimentne stene, raspadnute metamorfne i magmatske stene.
