Malathion-induced inhibition of human plasma cholinesterase studied by the fluorescence spectroscopy method
The in vitro effect of technical grade malathion was assessed via the kinetic parameters of human plasma butyrylcholinesterase (BChE) using N-methylindoxyl acetate as a substrate for BChE. An inhibitor kinetics study demonstrated the existence of a biphasic inhibition curve, indicating high- and low-affinity binding sites of malathion. The IC50 values as calculated from the experimental inhibition curves were 1.33 × 10–9 and 1.48 × 10–5 M for the high- and low-affinity binding sites, respectively; Hill’s analysis gave 1.29 × ...V. Knowledge Graphs in the Era of Large Language Models: Opportunities and Challenges
Pojava velikih jezičkih modela (eng. Large Language Models ili LLMs) je značajno uticala na oblast veštačke inteligencije, naročito u oblastima obrade prirodnog jezika i generisanju teksta. Međutim, ključno ograničenje ovih modela leži u nedostatku strukturiranog znanja i sposobnosti zaključivanja, što otežava njihovu primenu u stvarnom svetu, gde se zahteva tačnost iznetih činjenica i zaključivanje na osnovu konteksta. Flotation wastes are becoming a valuable secondary raw material and source of many metals and semimetals worldwide with the possibilities of industrial recycling. The interaction of organoselenium trans-palladium(II) complexes toward small-biomolecules and CT-DNA
Serija organoselenijum trans-paladijum(II) kompleksa 1 (bis(2-(fenilselanilmetil)oksolan)dihloropaladijum(II)), 2 (bis(2-(fenilselanilmetil)oksan)dihloropaladijum(II)) i 3 (bis(2) ,2-dimetil-3-(fenilselanil)oksan)dihloropaladijum(II)) su korišćeni za ispitivanje reaktivnosti ovog specifičnog tipa kompleksa prema različitim bio-molekulima. Ovaj sistem je od posebnog interesa jer se jako malo zna o supstitucionim reakcijam organoselenijum paladijum(II) kompleksa sa trans konfiguracijom. Zamena koordinovanog hlorida sa serijom malih bio-molekula (l-Met, l-His, l-Cis, GSH i 5′-GMP) proučavana je pod uslovima pseudo-prvog reda kao funkcija koncentracije nukleofila i temperature korišćenjem tehnika zaustavljenog toka. Mikroorganizmi - biohidrogeološki indikatori odabranih pojava mineralnih voda Srbije
Vladimir Šaraba (2021)Sa namerom definisanja hidrogeološke uloge i značaja mikrobiološkog diverziteta odabranih pojava mineralnih voda Srbije, primenom sistema biodetektora, dokazano je prisustvo gvožđevitih, sulfato-redukujućih, sluz-produkujućih, heterotrofnih aerobnih i denitrifikacionih bakterija, na osnovu čega je proračunat rizik od razvoja procesa biokorozije i biohemijske inkrustacije, te zdravstveni rizik. Reciklaža i ponovna upotreba flotacijske jalovine rudnika „Rudnik“ u cilju osvajanja tehnoloških postupaka prerade sekundarnih sirovina u Srbiji – projekat iz programa Prizma (2024-2026) - REASONING

Zbog zaostalih teških metala (Pb, Cu, Fe i Zn...) ona predstavlja potencijalno opasni otpad koji bi trebalo zbog vrednosti plemenitih i obojenih metala u njoj reciklirati. Na Rudniku „Rudnik“ svake godine se generiše oko 250.000 t, flotacijske jalovine, od 1953. god. oko 11 Mt. Rock slope stability analysis under Hoek–Brown failure criterion with different flow rules
The stability analysis of homogeneous rock slope following the Hoek–Brown failure criterion under the hypothesis of different flow rules is performed based on limit equilibrium and finite element methods. The applied failure criterion is the generalized Hoek–Brown that can be introduced as a shear/normal function in analysis applying different flow rules.
