Savić, Snežana D. Savić (2021)Poor water solubility of new chemical entities is considered as one of the main obstacles in drug development, as it usually leads to low bioavailability after administration. To overcome these problems, the selection of the appropriate formulation technology needs to be based on the physicochemical properties of the drug and introduced in the early stages of drug research. One example of the new potential drug substance with poor solubility is DK-I-60-3, deuterated pyrazoloquinolinone, designed for the treatment of various neuropsychiatric ...... 2.1. Synthesis and characterization of high-pressure and high-temperature sphene (CaTiSiO5)
Jelena Pantić, Vladimir Urbanovich, Vesna Poharc-Logar, Bojan Jokić, Marija Stojmenović, Aleksandar Kremenović, Branko Matović (2014)Sphene (CaTiSiO5), a calcium titanosilicate ceramic has been prepared from a powder mixture of CaCO3, TiO2 and SiO2 using vibro-milling for homogenization and activation of precursors. During the highpressure and high-temperature synthesis (HPS) process at 4 GPa and 1,200 °C, sphene undergoes into phase transition, from room-temperature phase P21/a to high-temperature phase A2/a. Evidence of that structural phase transition is given in this paper using infrared, Raman spectroscopy and X-ray powder diffraction. Geochemical evaluation of dolostone deposits in Montenegro: Implications for potential industrial applications
Darko Bozovic, Vladimir Simic, Dragan Radulovic, Slobodan Radusinovic, Vesna Matovic, Anja Terzic (2024)This study presents a unique model for assessing the dependability of continuous parts of combined systems in open-pit mining through the application of fuzzy logic. Continuous sub-systems as part of the combined system of coal exploitation in surface mines have the basic function of ensuring safe operation, high capacity with high reliability, and low costs. These subsystems are usually part of the thermal power plant’s coal supply system and ensure stable fuel supply. The model integrates various independent partial ...примарне сировине, минералогија, физичко-механичка својства, технолошка својства, наука о материјалимаDarko Bozovic, Vladimir Simic, Dragan Radulovic, Slobodan Radusinovic, Vesna Matovic, Anja Terzic. Malathion-induced inhibition of human plasma cholinesterase studied by the fluorescence spectroscopy method
The in vitro effect of technical grade malathion was assessed via the kinetic parameters of human plasma butyrylcholinesterase (BChE) using N-methylindoxyl acetate as a substrate for BChE. An inhibitor kinetics study demonstrated the existence of a biphasic inhibition curve, indicating high- and low-affinity binding sites of malathion. The IC50 values as calculated from the experimental inhibition curves were 1.33 × 10–9 and 1.48 × 10–5 M for the high- and low-affinity binding sites, respectively; Hill’s analysis gave 1.29 × ...V.
