History of the development of the hydrodynamic model of the open pit mine “Drmno”, Serbia
With the creation of a hydrodynamic model, the need for it usually ceases until some next moment when the model needs to be updated and used for the set task for the necessary project documentation or dedicated studies. It is relatively rare that almost every year the model is improved and used for forecast calculations. The paper presents the basic characteristics and development of the hydrodynamic model of the open pit mine “Drmno” for 25 years. This open pit ...Dušan Polomčić, Jelena Ratković, Vesna Ristić Vakanjac. Sexual dimorphism and left-right asymmetry of carapace ornamentation in Hemicytheria setosa RUNDIĆ 2002
In biostratigraphic research of the Upper Miocene of the Pannonian Basin System, one of the frequently detected and important ostracod genera is Hemicytheria. Among more than 20 species of this genus, Hemicytheria setosa is present in sandy facies of the Lake Pannon sediments in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The aims of this study were to describe sexual dimorphism and differences between left and right valve morphology in Hemicytheria setosa. Landmark based geometric morphometrics is applied on the grounds ...Morfologija ljušture, Ostrakode, geometrijska morfometrija, gornji miocen, južni deo Panonskog basenaVukica Vujić, Ljupko Rundić, Tamara Karan-Žnidaršič. Cyanobacterial diversity and toxicity of biocrusts from the Caspian Lowland loess deposits, North Iran
Tamara Dulić, Jussi Meriluoto, Tamara Palanački Malešević, Violeta Gajić, Tamara Važić, Nada Tokodi, Igor Obreht, Bojan Kostić, Petar Kosijer, Farhad Khormali, Zorica Svirčev (2016)Biocrusts and adjacent sediments were collected from the so-called loess plateau of Northern Iran and the loess deposits on the foothills of Alborz Mountains. The mineralogical and granulometric analyses characterized sediments as quartz-rich clayey or sandy silts. Cyanobacterial diversity, colony morphology and grain stabilization were studied by light and scanning electron microscopy, which showed glue-like layers of cyanobacterial EPS and dense networks of filamentous cyanobacteria immobilizing finer and bigger grains, respectively. Amorphous, tuft and globular cyanobacterial colony structures were also detected. 15 cyanobacterial genera were ...Tamara Dulić, Jussi Meriluoto, Tamara Palanački Malešević, Violeta Gajić, Tamara Važić, Nada Tokodi, Igor Obreht, Bojan Kostić, Petar Kosijer, Farhad Khormali, Zorica Svirčev. The first record of nautiloids (Cenoceras intermedius) from the early Pliensbachian of Rgotina, (Getic nappe, eastern Serbia)
Cenoceras intermedius (J. Sowerby) is one of the most widespread species among the Early Jurassic nautiloid fauna and its geological range still controversial up to the present day. The specimen of Cenoceras intermedius from the sandy bioclastic limestones of Rgotina (Getic nappe of eastern Serbia), is a large half conch representing the phragmocone. Viewing our findings in light of previous results suggests the main morphological changes occurred during the ontogenetic evolution. Determining the groundwater movement velocity using cross-correlation analysis: Velika Morava alluvium case study
Milan Kresojević, Vesna Ristić Vakanjac, Dušan Polomčić, Boris Vakanjac, Dragan Trifković, Jugoslav Nikolić (2024)Monitoring of water levels and flow rates of the Velika Morava River, due to its significance for the Republic of Serbia, was established over 100 years ago at the profiles of Ljubičevski Most and Ćuprija. This was followed a year later by the activation of the Varvarin monitoring station, then in 1935 by the Žabarski Most, and in 1952 by the Bagrdan station. Control of substructure construction of railways in the Republic of Serbia
У оквиру овог рада приказује се техничка регулатива која регулише контролу збијености при изградњи железничке ...... the transition layer, it should meet the conditions of safety against frost [2:38-38].
Ispitivani kvartarni sedimenti odlikuju se odsustvom ...... fairly homogeneous/uniform in composition, primarily consisting. of fine-grained clastites (dominantly siltstones) with a certain percentage of sandy and clay fractions.
